A mural is that type of artwork which is painted or applied directly on to permanent surfaces such as a wall, ceiling etc. A distinguishable property of mural painting is that the architectural elements of the given space are harmoniously incorporated into the picture. Sometimes huge paintings are drawn on large canvases/paper and later it will get attached to the wall.

The concept behind murals painting perhaps found in the ancient caves or on the walls of churches etc. The important aspect of these murals is “resin clay” which is a different type of clay. Such clay is used to make 3-dimensional murals. The only use of clay is not feasible just because it might not hold the weight. And this is the reason why artist uses a particular wood as one of the mediums on which such special type of clay is used.
The wood will act as background/base platform on which such arts are made. This clay withstands changes in weather/climate, it is also durable or non-breakable and does not leaves the formation done on the board and does not need to be fired for making it stronger.
